I have read a lot of books this year. I have loved so many, but I have decided to narrow to my top twenty. This doesn’t include rereads of my favorite books. The second half of the year is coming out with so many new releases I am hoping to love so many of them.

Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo

My rating was also 5/5 stars. It was a wonderful way to end this amazing duology.
Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor
“Dream up something wild and improbable. Something beautiful and full of monsters.”
I rated it 5/5. Laini Taylor has a way with words and turning her worlds into magic.
Foxhole Court by Nora Sakavic
“Remember this feeling. This is the moment you stop being the rabbit.”
This was also rated 5/5. These books are so underrated. Foxhole Court is just happiness for me.
I’ll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson
“I gave up practically the whole world for you, the sun, stars, ocean, trees, everything, I gave it all up for you.”
5/5 stars, this book had me laughing, crying, and feel. It was so good and recommend it to everyone.
Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare
“Sometimes the most ruthless heart speaks the most truth.”
This book was amazing, 5/5 stars, I’m so excited for the third book to end it all.
Blue Lily, Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater
“Humans were so circular; they lived the same slow circles of joy and misery over and over, never learning. Every lesson in the universe had to be taught billions of times.”
5/5 stars, this book took us deeper into this world and characters.
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
“In new situations, all the trickiest rules are the ones nobody bothers to explain to you.”
I rated this book 5/5. Cath was super relatable and I loved Levi.
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz
“Words were different when they lived inside of you.”
This book was so cute. 5/5 stars from me.
Vicious by V.E. Schwab
“Plenty of humans were monsters, and plenty of monsters knew how to play at being human.”
⅘ stars. This book took me awhile to get into, but I loved it.
Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy by Cassandra Clare
“Well, I’m a lovelace. My family quit Shadowhunting due to laziness in the 1700s.”

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin.

I rated this ⅘ stars. It was very good and Noah is my son.
And I Darken by Kiersten White
“The last time she was up here, she had been…staring up at the sky and dreaming stars. Now, she looked down and potted flames.”
The characters and world in this ⅘ star book were amazing.
The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater
“He was a book, and he was holding his final pages, and he wanted to get to the end to find out how it went, and he didn’t want it to be over.”

Love Letters to the Dead by Ava Dellaira

⅘ was given to the underrated book. It was very good and made me very emotional for a while.
Under Rose-Tainted Skies by Louise Gornall
“Mental health is usually the last place people go when they think about sick.”
I rated it ⅘ stars. It had very good mental illness rep and cute romance story.
When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon
“This is our life. We get to decide the rules. We get to say what goes and what stays, what matters and what doesn’t.”
My rating was ⅘ stars. It was a very cute contemporary including some Indian culture. Check out my Review here
The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon

This book got a ⅘ stars from me. It had great characters and an amazing world.
Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon
“Everything’s a risk. Not doing anything is a risk. It’s up to you.”
I gave this ⅘ stars. It was a fluffy summer contemporary with the cutest love interest.
Everyday by David Levithan
“If there is one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: We all want everything to be okay. We don’t even wish for so much as fantastic or marvelous or outstanding. We will happily settle for okay, because most of the time, okay is enough.”
My rate was ⅘ stars. This book makes your eyes water so much. It has such a deep meaning, and I would really recommend.
